Seamless Experience for Drivers and Fleet Owners     

This national retailer, primarily serving the trucking industry, sought a fresh, unified experience for visitors to its website, 80% of whom are fleet managers. In addition, they also needed new customer portals. From legacy systems and multiple manual processes to a complicated alignment of business units, this project presented a number of challenges.

I met with stakeholders from across the organization to discuss and better understand the current and ideal state. My team and business analysts created a requirements matrix for all portal functionality and features, and wireframes were used to validate requirements and features in terms of functionality. Originally scoped as a SharePoint solution, this project evolved to include Sitecore capabilities (e.g. personalization). The new platform allows for more self-service and successfully pulls data from multiple backend systems to create a seamless and consistent online experience.
